Wearing Red

If the thought of wearing red sends a shiver up your spine, you’re not alone. It’s one of those colours that seems to work for you or it doesn’t, so keep reading because we’re giving you the trade secret to wearing your red.

But there’s a trade secret (that’s not really a secret anymore) you should know if you’re wanting to add red to your collection and master the right red for you.

Here goes…

There are two different types of red. One has warm/yellow undertones (think tomato red). The other has cool/blue undertones (think firetruck red). The best way of knowing which one you fit into is to get your colours done with a trained stylist. You’ll learn about the core colours that suit you perfectly as well as how to mix them and use that knowledge to curate your wardrobe. Get in touch with us to learn more about this service.

However, if you’re wanting to get into it straight away you can do a little self-test with silver and gold jewellery. It’s as easy as deciding which you suit best, trust yourself! If you feel more comfortable in silver the best reds for you will have cool undertones. If you feel more comfortable wearing gold your best reds will have warm undertones.

Okay, that’s a lot to take in. If you’re still a bit lost definitely get in touch with us by email or chat with us on Facebook.
