Summer Dresses in the Office 1 | 2

We’re starting this year off with styling tips to help you get more wear out of your favourite summer dresses. We’re using the same two dresses we used for Christmas events and getting them work ready with in a few easy steps.

We’re big believers in making the most of what you already have, not just for your benefit but the environment as well. The truth is sometimes we need new ways to style the same item instead of new items…

To prove this point we’ve got two of our favourite dresses and swapped them from street style to work style with a simple change of accessories.

Styling Tips:

// Jewellery. We went for a structured look with geometric earrings. This adds a more serious tone to an otherwise casual dress.

// Shoes. Heels are a must for this dress to pull it forward into the smart-casual category. Wedges have the perfect balance of smart and casual for this particular dress.

// Jacket. This is the make or break point for this look and we had to include one for those of you who have the luxury of air conditioning! With a dress of this nature (cotton/jersey fabric) a tailored jacket is your only option.

// Sunglasses. We kept these for fun! Every outfit has to have a little piece of you in it and in this case we recommend being sun-smart for your coffee run.
